Evil eye is Bad in Islam. Unknowingly we say something which may turn it to an evil eye. Prophet (saw) says "Why does one of you kill his brother?" for the person who had an evil eye.
Most of muslims spent their entire lives in lethargy and diseases without being aware or paying attention to the words of the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم mentioned by Imam Al Shawkani from Al Bazzar who narrated from Jabir Ibn Abdullah that he ﷺ said :
( أَكْثرُ مَن يموتُ مِن أمَّتي بعدَ قضاءِ اللَّهِ وقدرِهِ بالأنفسِ)
"After the divine will and decree from Allah, most from my ummah die because of being afflicted by the Evil Eye" [Al Bazzar]

“Asma’ said: ‘O Messenger of Allah! The children of Ja’far have been afflicted by the evil eye, shall I recite Ruqyah* for them?’ He said: ‘Yes, for if anything were to overtake the Divine decree it would be the evil eye.’” Ibn Majah Sahih : 3639, Tirmidhi 2203 https://sunnah.com/urn/673650 https://sunnah.com/urn/1275550
So,perform ruqya on yourself, take means of protection & stay safe always hafidhakumullah !!
Malik :: Book 50 : Hadith 50.1.1
Yahya related to me from Malik that Muhammad ibn Abi Umama ibn Sahl ibn Hunayf heard his father say, "My father, Sahl ibn Hunayf did a ghusl at al-Kharrar. He removed the jubbah he had on while Amir ibn Rabia was watching, and Sahl was a man with beautiful white skin. Amir said to him, 'I have never seen anything like what I have seen today, not even the skin of a virgin.' Sahl fell ill on the spot, and his condition grew worse. Somebody went to the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and told him that Sahl was ill, and could not go with him. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, came to him, and Sahl told him what had happened with Amir. The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, 'Why does one of you kill his brother? Why did you not say, "May Allah bless you?" (ta baraka-llah) The evil eye is true. Do wudu from it.' Amir did wudu from it and Sahl went with the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and there was nothing wrong with him."
What to say when in fear of afflicting something or someone with one’s eye?
‘If you see something from your brother, yourself or wealth which you find impressing, then invoke blessings for it, for the evil eye is indeed true’.
1. Say MashaALLAHU La Kuwwatha illa billah
وَلَوْلَا إِذْ دَخَلْتَ جَنَّتَكَ قُلْتَ مَا شَاءَ اللَّهُ لَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ ۚ إِنْ تَرَنِ أَنَا أَقَلَّ مِنْكَ مَالًا وَوَلَدًا
18:39"It was better for you to say, when you entered your garden: 'That which Allâh wills (will come to pass)! There is no power but with Allâh!' If you see me less than you in wealth, and children,
2. Ruqya (a) Mu’awwidhatain (Chapter 113, 114)
بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ وَعَيْنِ حَاسِدٍ بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ وَاللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَMeaning: In the Name of Allah, I recite a prayer (Ruqyah) over you, from the evil of every person and evil eye. In the Name of Allah I recite a prayer (Ruqyah) over you, may Allah cure you.

بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَ مِنْ كُلِّ شَىْءٍ يُؤْذِيكَ مِنْ شَرِّ كُلِّ نَفْسٍ أَوْ عَيْنِ حَاسِدٍ اللَّهُ يَشْفِيكَ بِاسْمِ اللَّهِ أَرْقِيكَIn the name of Allah I exorcise you from everything and safeguard you from every evil that may harm you and from the eye of a jealous one. Allah would cure you and I invoke the name of Allah for you.
Take a glass of water. Bring your mouth close to it. Read ayat al Kursi and then
Surah Yunus v81 ('إِنَّ اللَّهَ سَيُبْطِلُهُ ۖ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُصْلِحُ عَمَلَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ ')×7 times with complete faith..
You may read Surat al fatiha 7 times too and then the mu'awwazatayn.
Read it such that your breath along with light spit lightly lands in the glass of water and the water moves by your light blowing. Now drink this water. Wait for 2-3 hours, preferably less than 3... Empty your bladder by urinating. Now watch the color of your urine. If you are possessed by jinn, affected by evil eye or have any kind of spiritual illness related to shayateen your urine will come out exactly the same color of the water you drank. If it was clear transparent water the urine will be exactly transparent. If the water was tinted with any edible substance say of pink color, it would come out pink. Also surprisingly the quantity you pee will be exactly the same as you drank. Half a glass in, half a glass out. Full glass in, full out. If you are perfectly healthy & nothing of evil touched you yet then your urine will be yellowish like normal. [All this by the will of Allah alone]

whenever the Prophet (saas) went to bed, he would blow into his hands,
