A few consequences of sinning/disobeying Allāh

 بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Imaam Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله listed a few consequences of sinning/disobeying Allāh:

• Lack of success

• Corrupt views

• Blindness from truth

• Corruption of the heart

• Failing to remember Allāh

• Wasting of time

• Avoidance and hate by the creation

• Separation between the servant and his Lord

• Supplication not being answered

• Hardness of the heart

• Decaying of blessing in provision and age

• Prevention from attaining knowledge

• Humiliation

• Insults from the enemies

• Constriction of the chest

• Affliction with evil friendship, those who corrupt the heart and make one waste the time

• Prolonging of sadness and grief

• Miserable life

• Disappointment

All this results from sinning and and neglecting to remember Allāh, just as crops are grown by being watered and are consumed by fire.

Islamic Evidences of Climate Change

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

 Climate Change

1. Landslides , Earth Collapsing

It was narrated from ‘Abdullah that the Prophet (ﷺ) said:

“Just before the Hour comes there will be transformations, the earth collapsing, and Qadhf. (i.e. the throwing of stones perhaps as a means of punishment – maybe it refers to landslides).” Sunan Ibn Majah 4059 Sahih (Darussalam) https://sunnah.com/ibnmajah/36/134

2. Heavy Rain but no plantation

Narrated Abu Huraira(Ra) that the Messenger of ALLAH(sallahu alaihiwasallam) said:

“The Hour will not come until rain descends on people so heavily that no mud-brick houses would offer any protection against it and only houses made of camel hair would offer protection against it.” [Ahmad Shaakir and Shu‘ayb Al-Arnaa’oot: Saheeh (authentic)] Al-Albaani classified it as authentic in Silsilat Al-Ahaadeeth As-Saheehah, no. 7/79

Prophet (sallahu alaihiwasallam) said: Famine is not which there is no rain; rather famine is that in which there is rain but the earth does not produce anything. [ Ahmad, Al-Haythami said Its men are the men of Saheeh]

3. Euphrates will dry

Narrated Abu Huraira:
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Soon the river "Euphrates" will disclose the treasure (the mountain) of gold, so whoever will be present at that time should not take anything of it." Al-A'raj narrated from Abii Huraira that the Prophet (ﷺ) said the same but he said, "It (Euphrates) will uncover a mountain of gold (under it).Sahih al-Bukhari 7119

4. Arab goes back to Meadows and Rivers
Abu Hurayrah, may Allaah be pleased with him, narrated that the Prophet, sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam, said: “‘The Hour will not come until the land of the Arabs goes back to being meadows and rivers; and until one travels from Iraq to Makkah fearing none but the highwaymen; and until Al-Harj becomes widespread.’ It was said, ‘What is Al-Harj, O Messenger of Allaah?’ He said: ‘Murder.’” [Ahmad]
