A beautiful description of Sirath

Bismillahirrahmanirraheem

A beautiful description of Sirath by Sheik Assim Al Hakeem on his facebook page.

Al Sirat is a bridge erected on both edges of hell. Only believers and the hypocrites will pass over it. In the midst of darkness, Allah will send a light with every individual according to their deeds. Some will have a light as a as mountain while others would be given a light in their toe. People will cross it in different speeds. Some of them as fast as lightening while others would crawl on their hands and feet. The hypocrites and sinners will not pass it and will be taken from it and fall in hell and only Allah knows for how long. We know that the hypocrites will stay there forever. It is thinner than a hair and sharper than a razor blade. Remembering this sends the shiver down my spine. I wonder what will happen to those who deal in Riba, miss Fajr prayer or don’t abide by the Hijab. O Allah, complete our light and make us among the fortunate to the Sirat cross it in peace.
