Preach but not Follow?

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

A beautiful poem on teaching but not following:

Men are many who fail to practice what they preach
Many more who are untaught and yet they teach

Teaching others what they themselves were never taught
With aspiration of praises and pleasure of men, sought

In their minds they raise themselves by leap and bound
So high that they loose the stability of the ground

They seem not aware of the splinter in their eye
Though quick to point the flaw of everyone who passes by

Humility and manners raises men to status high
While arrogance and pride degrades them even as they try

Not recognizing their limitations nor place
In the end, the result is nothing but disgrace

Intentions need to be checked and corrected often
Speech and action sometimes are in need to be soften

Be kind and gentle, while being firm and true
Be sincere and wise, this is better for you

I know my weaknesses more than all other men see
So before reaching others, this advice is for me
