He was Falsely accused of believing in Wahdath al-Wujood but he CLEARLY and OPENLY denies it in his Book the Shade of Quran. Here is copy paste from his Book
"The Islamic view draws a distinct line between Creator and creation. The Creator is unique and matchless, which leaves no room in Islamic thought for the idea of “the unity of creation” or pantheism. Non- Muslim philosophy relies on this idea to indicate that creation and the Creator are one and the same; that creation is a mere reflection of the Creator and the physical manifestation of its Maker. A Muslim views existence as a unity in a different sense: it is created by one will, follows the same laws of nature, demonstrates absolute harmony and submits humbly to its Lord:"

As Sheik Jibrin says, there are many things stated but doesn't exists. This coincides with exactly what Sheik Abu Bakr Zayd says. Even the things accused in the question thread of Sheik Albani (rah) blog about Syed Qutub(rah) like Surah Naba etc. are seems to have different words and different intention.

There are many vague things, until he is raised from grave and questioned what he really means by this , meant by that, it would be injustice to assume that he means this etc.
Other Scholars Fatwa's are based on either Sheik Rabees book.

Ibn Hazm said: "He who rules people as disbelievers because of something they said, while their statements can be understood in different ways, then he has erred. This is because he thereby says something untrue regarding his opponents and attributes to them something that they did not say. (Al-fasl fi al-milalwa al-ahwaa')

In order to Take knowledge, there are good Tafsirs like Tafsir Ibn Kathir which is done by good scholars and is available online.  The works of Qutub/Mawdudi  should be seen as Literature work and not as a Scholarly Tafsir.  It helps to understand the plan of the enemies of Islam in modern times and equip ourselves with the Knowledge.

O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah and be just witnesses and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just: that is nearer to piety, and fear Allah. Verily, Allah is Well-Acquainted with what you do. [Surat Al-Mā'idah chapter 5 Verse 8]
Therefore, the obligation of everyone is to make du’a for him that Allah forgive his sins, to benefit from his knowledge, to clarify his mistakes, and that his mistakes do not make us not benefit from his knowledge, or to abandon his books

Inna Allaha ya/muru bilAAadliwal-ihsani wa-eeta-i theealqurba wayanha AAani alfahsha-i walmunkariwalbaghyi yaAAithukum laAAallakum tathakkaroon

Indeed, Allah orders justice and good conduct and giving to relatives and forbids immorality and bad conduct and oppression. He admonishes you that perhaps you will be reminded. [Surat An-Naĥl  Chapter 16 verse 90]
“… and do not deprive the people of their due and do not commit abuse on the earth, spreading corruption.” [Hud 11:85]
[4:58] Verily, Allâh commands that you should render back the trusts to those, to whom they are due; and that when you judge between men, you judge with justice. Verily, how excellent is the teaching which He (Allâh) gives you! Truly, Allâh is Ever All-Hearer, All-Seer.

Sheik Assim Al-Hakeen in defence of Dr. Zakir Naik:
As for Sayed Qutub, he had shortcomings and errors that must be addressed. But he had some good as well and his writings carried a lot of benefit.
Dr. Zakir Naik also has shortcomings like everyone else. His Dawah has reached all corners of earth and Allah has guided a lot by his efforts.
What benefit have these backbiters added to the Ummah? They are like flies that see only rotten things and feed on it. The real deviant sect of Islam and the clear enemies of Islam are in safety from their attacks but not their Muslim brothers who advocate Salafi Aqeedah. I hope this clarifies my point of view.

What Scholars say about Salafi Publication
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
Some people have a nature similar to the one of pigs, which doesn´t appreciate good food and rushes towards faeces if a man relieves himself. Many people are like this. If they hear about or see with their own eyes your good qualities, even if these exceed your flaws by far, it doesn´t please them, they don´t pay attention to it nor do they mention it to other people. But if they see the least mistake in talk or action, they react immediately and wholeheartedly.

Clarifying the condition of faith for one who says to his muslim brother: "O Kafir (Disbeliever)

It is reported on the authority of Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allah (may peace and blessings be upon him) said:

Any person who called his brother: or unbeliever (has in fact done an act by which this unbelief) would return to one of them. If it were so, as he asserted (then the unbelief of man was confirmed but if it was not true), then it returned to him (to the man who labeled it on his brother Muslim)

Few words from Me:

"Deeds are by Final Action" http://www.40hadithnawawi.com/index.php/the-hadiths/hadith-4
We don't know in what state Duaath of the past died and the status of the Present day scholars . It is PURELY left with ALLAH Azwajal Alone.

As for Syed Qutub and Ahmed Deedath, Do not Curse the Dead
Narrated `Aisha:The Prophet  (صلى الله عليه وسلم) said, "Do not abuse the dead, for they have reached the result of what they have done."  Sahih al-Bukhari 6516

As for the Living Duaat of Islam like Zakhir Naik, Yusuf Estates etc. Just remember:
And who is better in speech than he who invites to Allah, means, he calls the servants of Allah to Him. [49:33]
There is no Need to provide Daleel to show the END RESULT  of Dawa of Zakhir Naik , Ahmed Deedath, Yusuf  Estates. Go to any New Muslim Forum or Youtube and ask the reason for the person to come to Islam, and the word they would say is "Zakir" or "Deedath" or "Yousuf"
A person accepting Islam is far better than (a great number of) red camels (Sahih al-Bukhari 3701) and this is the primary reason for Dawa or Jihad. NOT TO MAKE PEOPLE RUN AWAY FROM ISLAM
"When hardness and harshness is added to the da’wah and its heaviness upon the people, as we mentioned–then two types of hardness and harshness have come together, and that will be a cause which will repel people from the true call, whereas the purpose of da’wah was to draw them to it."
Religious extremism and busying oneself with calling Muslims as Kaafir or Innovators etc and refuting etc would just strengthens the enemies.

[17:53] And say to My slaves (i.e. the true believers of Islâmic Monotheism) that they should (only) say those words that are the best. (Because) Shaitân (Satan) verily, sows a state of conflict and disagreements among them. Surely, Shaitân (Satan) is to man a plain enemy.

In  Soorah al-Anfaal Chapter 8 Verse 46 ALLAH Azwajal says
"And obey Allâh and His Messenger [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam], and do not dispute (with one another) lest you lose courage and your strength departs, and be patient. Surely, Allâh is with those who are As-Sâbirûn (the patient)."
Also remember what Aason (AS) requested Moses (AS) in "so make not the enemies rejoice over me, nor put me amongst the people who are Zalimun ".

Finally Ending this article with the Dua:
A Dua when Musa (AS) was differing with Aaron (AS)

And he(Moses)  threw down the Tablets and seized his brother by (the hair of) his head and dragged him towards him. Harun (Aaron) said: "O son of my mother! Indeed the people judged me weak and were about to kill me, so make not the enemies rejoice over me, nor put me amongst the people who are Zalimun (wrong-doers)."
Mûsa (Moses) said:
"O my Lord! Forgive me and my brother, and make us enter into Your Mercy, for you are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy." [7:150-151]

General Dua:
"Our Lord! Forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in Faith, and put not in our hearts any hatred against those who have believed. Our Lord! You are indeed full of kindness, Most Merciful. [59:10]

If a Muslim hears something evil said about his fellow Muslim, then he should confidently say (based on the principle that a believer should think good of others): "This is a clear lie" just like he would say if he is certain of the reality of that person (Al-Kashshaaf) - Sheik
Muhammad Al-Munajjid

Salaam alaykum OR as-salaam alaykum?

Salaam alaykum OR as-salaam alaykum?

Both ways are correct. In fact in theQur'aan, Allah prefers salaam alaykum over as-salaam alaykum!!! Of the 24 places where the phrase is used, only in two places was as-salaam used while in 22 places salaam was used!!! For example, the very first usage in Soorah al-An'aam, 6:54, "When those who believe in My signs come to you, say (O Muhammad and your followers) to them, 'Salaamun alaykum' ". And consistently the greetings in Paradise is salaam alaykum in all verses. Furthermore, the greeting to the prophets mentioned in the 37th chapter (as-Saaffaat) in verses 79, 109, 120, 130, & 181 were all salaam and not as-salaam.

A time when du'a is answered

Don't forget sa'at al istijabah (a time when du'a is answered).

All you have to do is make dua before Maghrib!
Note: It's NOT 'Salat' (prayer), it's Sa'at (time) of istijabah (response).

It was narrated from Jabir bin 'Abdullah that:
The Messenger of Allah () said: "Friday is twelve hours in which there is no Muslim slave who asks Allah (SWT) for something but He will give it to him, so seek it in the last hour after 'Asr." (Sahih)
Sunan al-Nasâ’î (1389)
http://sunnah.com/urn/1065170
Sunan Abi Dawud 1048 http://sunnah.com/abudawud/2/659

Anas bin Malik narrated that :
the Prophet said: "Seek out the hour that is hoped for on Friday after Asr until the sun has set." (Sahih)
Jami` at-Tirmidhi 489 http://sunnah.com/tirmidhi/4/2
ALLAH Azwaja created Adam (peace be upon him) after 'Asr on Friday;the last creation at the last hour of the hours of Friday,Sahih Muslim http://sunnah.com/urn/267071  Hadith 6707
Some scholars have said this hour is from the time the Imam (prayer’s leader) enters the mosque on Friday’s prayer until the prayer is over (ie between the two khutbahs), whereas others have said that it is the last hour of the day (i.e., after the Asr prayer until the Maghrib prayer).

(Note: when we say an hour here we do not mean the hour everyone knows (60 minutes) but an unspecified period of time because the time counters which we use today came after the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) had died.
