بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Believe in Quran and sunnah as the Companions believed:
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمْ آمِنُوا كَمَا آمَنَ النَّاسُ قَالُوا أَنُؤْمِنُ كَمَا آمَنَ السُّفَهَاءُ ۗ أَلَا إِنَّهُمْ هُمُ السُّفَهَاءُ وَلَـٰكِن لَّا يَعْلَمُونَ
[Surah Baqarah 2.13] And when it is said to them (hypocrites): "Believe as the people (followers of Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam], Al-Ansâr and Al-Muhajirûn) have believed," they say: "Shall we believe as the fools have believed?" Verily, they are the fools, but they know not.
[There were no other believers when this verse was revealed other than the Sahabah, and it is their way we are commanded to follow.]
[Surah Baqarah 2.137] So, if they believe in the like of that which you believe then they are rightly guided; but if they turn away, then they are only in opposition. So Allâh will suffice for you against them. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower.
[Surah Nisaa 4: 115] And whoever contradicts and opposes the Messenger (Muhammad [sal-Allâhu 'alayhi wa sallam]) after the right path has been shown clearly to him, and follows other than the believers' way, We shall keep him in the path he has chosen, and burn him in Hell – what an evil destination!
[Soorah al-An'aam 6: 82] It is those who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh and worship none but Him Alone) and confuse not their Belief with Zulm (wrong, i.e. by worshipping others besides Allâh), for them (only) there is security and they are the guided.
The Sahaba inquired from the Prophet (pbuh ) regarding the term Zulm in this ayat and quoting a verse from Surah Luqman he explained that it is " shirk" . So corrupting of Iman can lead to shirk too hence it is dangerous to take it lightly.
What about there mistakes? The shia and their likes always talk about Fitna:
Shaykul Islamiya Ibn Taymiya(Rah) says in his Aqeeda-al-Wasitiyyah:
"If anyone of them (as-Sahabah) committed any act of offense, without doubt he
repented from it, or he did good deeds which wiped that offense from him, or he has been forgiven
for the virtue of accepting Islam from its start or by intercession of Muhammad (peace be upon
him) since they are deserving most his intercession, or a calamity inflicted upon him in this world
which covered for that offense. But if this is the case in actual offenses, what about matters in
which they were mujtahids (formulating independent decision in legal or theological matters)? If
they were correct in their ijtihad they will receive double reward and if they missed they will receive
one reward and the missing is forgiven for them.
Furthermore, the objectionable amount of their deeds is negligible in comparison to their virtues,
their merit is in belief in Allah and His Messenger, the jihad in His Path, the Hijrah (emigration) from
Makkah to al-Madinah, the support for the Prophet and the faith, the valuable knowledge and the
good deeds.
Whoever studies the life of the Sahabah objectively, with insight and with what Allah
bestowed upon them of virtues, will no doubt discover that they are the best of all people after the
Prophet (peace be upon him), that there never was and never will be their like and that indeed they
are the choicest of the generations of the 'Ummah which is in itself the best of all nations and the
most honorable in the eyes of Allah ,The Exalted."
Follow them exactly in Goodness
[9:100] And the first to embrace Islam of the Muhajirun (those who migrated from Makkah to Al-Madinah) and the Ansar (the citizens of Al-Madinah who helped and gave aid to the Muhajirun) and also those who followed them exactly (in Faith). Allah is well-pleased with them as they are well-pleased with Him. He has prepared for them Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise), to dwell therein forever. That is the supreme success.
ALLAH Azwajal forgave the sins of Ansar and Muhajir
[9:117] Allah has forgiven the Prophet (SAW), the Muhajirun (Muslim emigrants who left their homes and came to Al-Madinah) and the Ansar (Muslims of Al-Madinah) who followed him (Muhammad SAW) in the time of distress (Tabuk expedition, etc.), after the hearts of a party of them had nearly deviated (from the Right Path), but He accepted their repentance. Certainly, He is unto them full of Kindness, Most Merciful.
ALLAH Azwajal is pleased with the companions who gave plede at Hudaibiya
48:18 Indeed, Allah was pleased with the believers when they gave their Bai'a (pledge) to you (O Muhammad SAW) under the tree, He knew what was in their hearts, and He sent down As-Sakinah (calmness and tranquillity) upon them, and He rewarded them with a near victory
Love Ansar
Narrated Anas:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Love for the Ansar is a sign of faith and hatred for the Ansar is a sign of hypocrisy." : Sahih al-Bukhari 17
Do not abuse companions and not No one is equal:
[59:10] Not equal among you are those who spent and fought before the conquering (of Makkah) (with those among you who did so later). Such are higher in degree than those who spent and fought afterwards. But to all, Allah has promised the best (reward). And Allah is All-Aware of what you do.
Narrated Abu Sa`id:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not abuse my companions for if any one of you spent gold equal to Uhud (in Allah's Cause) it would not be equal to a Mud or even a half Mud spent by one of them."
[48:29] Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah ; and those with him are forceful against the disbelievers, merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and prostrating [in prayer], seeking bounty from Allah and [His] pleasure. Their mark is on their faces from the trace of prostration. That is their description in the Torah. And their description in the Gospel is as a plant which produces its offshoots and strengthens them so they grow firm and stand upon their stalks, delighting the sowers - so that Allah may enrage by them the disbelievers. Allah has promised those who believe and do righteous deeds among them forgiveness and a great reward.
A Nice Dua for them:
رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ
[59:10] And those who came after them say: "Our Lord! Forgive us and our brethren who have preceded us in Faith, and put not in our hearts any hatred against those who have believed. Our Lord! You are indeed full of kindness, Most Merciful.
