Can You Eat Food Made by Non-Muslims for Their Festivals?

بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ

Shaykhul-Islam Ibn Taymiyah may Allaah have mercy upon him wrote:

"As for accepting a gift from them (non-Muslims) on the day of their festival, we have quoted above that ʻAli ibn Abu Taalib may Allaah be pleased with him was brought a gift on the occasion of Nayrooz and that he accepted it. Ibn Abi Shaybah narrated in his book Al-Musannaf that a woman asked ʻAa'ishah, 'We have wet nurses from among the Magians, and they have a festival on which they bring us gifts?' She may Allaah be pleased with her said, 'As for what is slaughtered for that day, do not eat it, but eat from their trees (from what their trees produce).' It was narrated from Abu Barzah that he had some Magian neighbors who used to bring him gifts on the occasion of Nayrooz and Mihrajaan, and he used to say to his family, 'Whatever is of fruits, eat it, and whatever is otherwise, reject it.' All of this indicates that the festival does not make it forbidden to accept their gifts, rather the ruling is the same whether it is their festival or not because that does not involve helping them with regards to the rites of their disbelief." [Iqtidhaa' As-Siraat Al-Mustaqeem]

It was narrated on the authority of Jareer that Qaaboos reported on the authority of his father that a woman asked ‘Aa’ishah may Allaah be pleased with her "We have wet nurses from among the Magians, and they have     a festival on which they bring us gifts?" ‘Aa’ishah said, "As for what is slaughtered for that day, do not eat it, but eat from their trees (i.e. vegetables and fruit)."  [Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah]

Abu ʻAbdullaah Al-Haafith narrated on the authority of Abu Al-ʻAbbaas that Muhammad ibn Yaʻqoob reported on the authority of Al-Hasan ibn ʻAli ibn ʻAffaan that Abu Usaamah narrated on the authority of Hammaad ibn Zayd that Hishaam narrated on the authority of Muhammad ibn Seereen that he said, 'ʻAli may Allaah be pleased with him was given a gift on the Nayrooz festival (Persian festival) and asked, 'What is this?' They replied, 'Oh, Leader of the Believers, today is Nayrooz day.' So he said, 'Then make every day Nayrooz.'" [Al-Bayhaqi: As-Sunan Al-Kubra]

Al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) included a chapter entitled “Chapter on Accepting Gifts from Mushrikin”, in which he recorded many Hadiths

Narrated Abu Hurairah رضي الله عنه: The Prophet ﷺ said, When Ibrahim (Abraham عليه السلام) migrated along with Sarah, he reached a town ruled by a king or a tyrant. The latter ordered his men to give Sarah, Ajar. The Prophet ﷺ was given a cooked poisoned sheep as a present.

Narrated Abu Humaid رضي الله عنه: The king of Aila sent a white mule to the Prophet ﷺ, and the Prophet ﷺ sent him a garment and wrote to him a confirmation of the treaty concerning his country.

Narrated Anas bin Malik:A Jewess brought a poisoned (cooked) sheep for the Prophet (ﷺ) who ate from it. She was brought to the Prophet and he was asked, "Shall we kill her?" He said, "No." I continued to see the effect of the poison on the palate of the mouth of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) .
(Sahih al-Bukhari 2617 https://sunnah.com/bukhari:2617)

It was narrated from ‘Ali (رضي الله عنه) that Ukaidir Doomah gave the Prophet (ﷺ) a suit or a garment of silk. He [`Ali] said. He gave it to me and said:Divide it among the women for head covers.

Note:
Also if there is some prohibited items has been put in them, such as alcohol or lard (pork fat), one should not eat it.  A traditional Christmas fruit cake  is made authentic style with dried fruits soaked in alcohol(rum/wine).

Some people mention the following verses from the Quran to prohibit, food offered by Non Muslims. But this is not how the Salaf understood these Quran verses.

He has only forbidden to you carrion, blood, the flesh of swine, and what has been sacrificed to other than Allah. (2:173)
Forbidden to you are carrion, blood, the flesh of swine, and that which is sacrificed to other than Allah; and that which is killed by strangling, or by a violent blow, or by a headlong fall, or by being gored; and that which is partly eaten by a predator unless you slaughter it [before it dies]; and that which is sacrificed to idols. (5:3)
Say [O Prophet], “I do not find in what has been revealed to me anything forbidden to eat except carrion, running blood or the swine flesh – which is impure – or a sinful offering in the name of other than Allah.  (6:145)
He has only forbidden to you carrion, blood, flesh of swine, and what is slaughtered to other than Allah. (16:115)
Al-Qurtubi mentioned that "Aishah(RA) was asked about what non-Muslims slaughter for their feasts and then offer some of it as gifts for Muslims. She said, "Do not eat from what has been slaughtered for that day, (or feast) but eat from their vegetables."
